WARRANTY STATEMENT
The DaheimLaden EV chargers (DaheimLader Smart and DaheimLader Touch) are sold with a manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty Conditions
The manufacturer, DaheimLaden GmbH, provides a 2-year warranty for the product advertised with the warranty promise. The warranty period begins on the invoice date. The warranty is valid across all member states of the European Union.
During this period, if material or manufacturing defects occur in the purchased product, the manufacturer, as the guarantor, will provide one of the following services at their discretion:

Free repair of the product or

Free replacement of the product with an equivalent item

Exclusions from Warranty Claims
Warranty claims are excluded for damages caused by:

Normal wear and tear (e.g., usage marks on the charging plug and cable from regular use of the charger)

Improper or abusive handling

Failure to observe safety precautions

Use of force (e.g., impact damage)

Unauthorized repair attempts

Environmental influences outside the defined operating conditions or IP protection rating
Conditions for Warranty Service
To claim the warranty, the guarantor must be allowed to inspect the warranty case (e.g., by sending the EV charger along with all components). Ensure the product is securely packaged to avoid transportation damage. A copy of the invoice must be included with the shipment to verify the warranty period. Without an invoice copy, the guarantor may reject the warranty claim. Additionally, you must provide the name and address of the seller if these details are not included on the invoice copy.
For valid warranty claims, the warranty service will be provided free of charge, including reimbursement of any shipping costs for the return or provision of a prepaid return label. However, the guarantor will not cover costs for disassembly/reassembly of the product. The warranty does not cover consequential damages or damages outside the EV charger.
Legal Warranty
If the purchased product is defective, you can always contact us under the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty case exists or the warranty is claimed.
