How to Set Up SmartCharge in Click2Charge

Open the app’s settings for your home charger.
Tap the gear icon, select Access Settings, and choose Private.
Activate SmartCharge by toggling it on.
Return to the settings menu and select Electricity Costs.
Choose Spot Price and tap Save. You do not need to input your distribution network operator.
Select your charging station and choose SmartCharge.
Adjust the charging amount and desired end time.
Within the SmartCharge settings, move the point in the priority triangle toward cost savings.

Now, Click2Charge will automatically charge your EV at the cheapest available electricity rates during your selected time frame.

Pro Tip: If you always want to charge using SmartCharge, consider setting a charging rule. Specify how much energy and by what time you’d like the car to be charged. That way, every time your vehicle connects to the charging station, it will follow this charging rule.
